Long An brings children to the People's Council's question-and-answer session for the first time

On July 2, at the 16th session, the Long An Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021-2026, for the first time arranged for 20 children to attend and directly follow the question-and-answer session in the hall.

This is one of the preparations for the 2024 mock meeting of the Long An Provincial Children's Council scheduled to take place in July.

These 20 children are junior high school students selected from districts, towns and cities in Long An province, and were assigned the role of Children's People's Council delegates to help them observe and absorb the actual activities of the People's Council.

After the question and answer session, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long An province - also met and had a short discussion with the students to explain, encourage and help them better understand the operating structure of the People's Council.

Next, students will continue to practice their roles, gain experience and adjust their roles accordingly to successfully organize a mock meeting.

Previously, in mid-June, the District Youth Union - Youth Union Council of Thu Thua district also organized a mock meeting of the Children's People's Council, with the participation of more than 60 team members who are students from secondary schools in the district.

Organizing mock sessions of the Children's People's Council aims to create an environment and conditions for children to express their thoughts and aspirations, forming in them a sense of life, caring about society, and contributing to the country in the future.
