On June 9, Duc Hoa District Police (Long An) issued a decision to prosecute and order the temporary detention of two suspects Nguyen Chi Tam (21 years old, living in Hamlet 3, Phu Loi Commune, Thanh Binh District, Dong Thap Province) and Vo Hoai Em (21 years old, living in Bau Cong Hamlet, Tan My Commune, Duc Hoa District, Long An Province) for the acts of robbery and rape.

Previously, on May 31, in My Hanh Bac commune, Duc Hoa district, Long An province, two suspects Tam and Em robbed a 21-year-old girl of her belongings, including: 2 gold rings, 1 pair of gold earrings and 1 gold bracelet. After robbing the property, the two subjects used force to control and rape the girl and then fled.
Using professional measures, Duc Hoa District Police tracked down and identified the location where the two suspects were hiding and arrested them.
At the police station, Tam and Em admitted to robbery and rape.
The police seized the stolen property of the two suspects. The case is still under investigation.
