On the morning of February 19, Son La Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Provincial Police Director on personal resignation for leaders and commanders.

Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of Son La Provincial Police, handed over the decision to retire from work and enjoy retirement benefits from March 1, 2025 to 22 department-level leaders, including: 7 Department Heads and 14 Deputy Department Heads, Deputy Heads of District Police and 1 member of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Police Party Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the police officers receiving the decision to retire early, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Vinh, Chief of Office of the Criminal Police Department, clearly expressed the awareness of the responsibility of each individual in implementing the major policy of the Party and the Police force in arranging and organizing the apparatus.

“During my career in the People's Public Security Force, I have experienced many ups and downs, challenges and many memorable moments. I am proud to have contributed a small part to the cause of protecting national security and social order and safety. Memories of solved cases, criminals arrested, and people helped and shared will forever be precious assets in my life,” said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Vinh emotionally.

At the ceremony, Colonel Dang Trong Cuong, Director of Son La Provincial Police, commended 22 police officers who had excellently completed their assigned tasks, were allowed to retire, and enjoyed retirement benefits according to regulations; at the same time, he acknowledged the important work results and contributions of the officers, contributing to the overall achievements of the Provincial Police over the past time.

“Among the 22 officers retiring this time, there are comrades who have worked for more than 40 years in the People's Public Security force, and are Party members for about 30 years; during their working process, striving and maturing from soldiers to leaders and commanders, the comrades have always maintained the good traditional qualities of Party members and Public Security soldiers…”, Colonel Dang Trong Cuong emphasized.
