Ho Chi Minh City Workers receive general health check-ups, shop for discounted goods, and participate in entertainment and sports activities during the "Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy" festival.

Taking place over two days, August 26-27, the festival attracted nearly 10,000 young workers working in the Southeast region. Here, the young workers enjoyed medical examination and treatment activities with the contribution of more than 100 doctors and nurses from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association. They received a general health check-up regimen, from ultrasound, X-ray, Gene Xpert test, electrocardiogram, blood sugar test to nutrition consultation, health care and reproductive health.

Ms. Hien (PouYuen Company, Ho Chi Minh City) said that the medical examination helped her understand her health condition better, and she received medicine and gifts from the sponsor. "Without a medical examination like today, we would have less opportunity or less time to monitor our health," Ms. Hien said.

Within the framework of the festival, a shopping fair with hundreds of essential items at discounted prices not only brings spiritual joy to workers but also has economic support.

Workers also enjoyed a music night with performances by famous singers and artists.

The festival's diverse entertainment playground also creates conditions for workers to compete in the "Worker Talent Search" contest, encouraging them to confidently demonstrate their abilities.

The festival also opened a playground for sports lovers with the "Red Bull Cup Youth Football Tournament for Workers". After two days of competition, FC Changshin Vietnam became the champion of the Southeast region, advancing to the national final round to take place in Hanoi in November this year.

Ho Chi Minh City is just one stop in the series of festivals "Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy" initiated by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, TCP Vietnam and the Red Bull brand. The festival aims to care for the physical health as well as the spiritual life of workers across the country.

" Young workers are the core labor force of the country, contributing significantly to the production economy, creating momentum for the development of enterprises and localities. Therefore, taking care of the spiritual life of young workers is always a practical activity that needs to be promoted," said the representative of the organizing committee, sharing the reason for building the festival program series.

Starting in May, the festival took place in two provinces, Quang Nam and Bac Ninh, has just "arrived" in Ho Chi Minh City and will "roll" to Long An (September), Can Tho (October), before stopping at the final stop in Hanoi (November).

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huan, General Director of TCP Vietnam Company, shared that through a series of festivals taking place in many industrial parks and export processing zones from North to South, the company hopes to spread the mission of "Energizing, Revitalizing" to a large number of young workers.

"The support of a large number of young workers marks our initial success in our efforts to accompany the core workforce. TCP Vietnam hopes that this practical care will become a source of spiritual support, encouraging young workers to steadfastly dedicate themselves to production and overcome all challenges and difficulties," said Mr. Huan.
