Ngoc Chau said that she has completed most of her studies and is only waiting to complete her thesis and project to graduate. However, after registering for the Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 contest, Ngoc Chau asked to put her studies on hold to focus on participating in the contest.

After being crowned, the beauty continued to compete in the 71st Miss Universe in the US in early 2023. After two consecutive competitions, Ngoc Chau's academic record retention has also expired.

The beauty wanted to complete her studies at Ton Duc Thang University, so she submitted a request for review but it was not approved because the suspension of studies after the retention period is a regulation of the Ministry of Education and Training.

At present, after finishing her term as Miss Universe 2022, Ngoc Chau has returned to school. She is studying Public Relations at the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City.

Khanh Van remains silent amid rumors of being forced to drop out of school

Khanh Van – Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 – studied at the University of Theater and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City. However, in August 2022, when her term ended, this beauty was accused of being forced to leave school.

Prof. Dr. Vo Tong Xuan - Honorary Principal of Nam Can Tho University - also confirmed the information shared by runner-up Kim Duyen. He affirmed that Kim Duyen proactively requested to reserve her study results at the school to study abroad.
