Recently, the world's leading newspaper L'equipe reported on a transfer deal in V-League.
Paul-Georges Ntep was once called up to the French national team.
Specifically, the French newspaper said that Ho Chi Minh City Club has contacted to recruit the star who used to play for the French national team, Paul-Georges Ntep.
Currently, the two sides have basically reached agreements and the deal is likely to be successful.
Paul-Georges Ntep was born in Cameroon but grew up and started his football career in France.
The star born in 1992 has played for many clubs in Ligue 1 such as Auxerre, Rennes, Saint-Etienne or went to Germany to play for VfL Wolfsburg.
Notably, in 2015, Paul-Georges Ntep was called up to the French national team by coach Deschamps.
He debuted for the blue team in a friendly match against Belgium, where the "Roosters" lost 3-4.
Paul-Georges Ntep then played one more match for the French national team during the FIFA World Cup in June 2015.
But since then, the 31-year-old striker has not been called up to the French national team again.
In 2018, the former Saint-etienne star moved to play for the Cameroon national team.
However, in the African team's jersey, he only played 4 times and scored 1 goal.
Paul-Georges Ntep plays well as a winger but can also play as a centre forward.
Since turning professional, Ntep has made 228 appearances in the national championship and scored 42 goals.
If this deal is successful, this will be a quality contract for Ho Chi Minh City Club, especially when they have just parted ways with Hoang Vu Samson.
Previously, the "Red Battleship" also successfully recruited Vietnamese-American player Pierre Lamothe.
