VakifBank is one of the best women's volleyball clubs in the world, having won the Women's Volleyball Club World Cup finals three times and the European Championship four times, so it is rated much higher than the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, which has just won a ticket to participate in a world-level tournament for the first time.
Bich Thuy carries the attack of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in the absence of key players Thanh Thuy and Kieu Trinh.
With the goal of winning the championship, VakifBank was the first team to arrive in Hangzhou to get used to the weather and field conditions. Speaking before the match with the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, Coach Guidetti of VakifBank Club said: "The Vietnamese representative has a completely different playing style compared to us when it comes to agility and technique. Therefore, we have prepared carefully and will have to play with full concentration."
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will take to the field with the highest spirit at the Women's Club World Cup.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team received good news when Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh and Tu Linh returned to practice in yesterday's familiarization session, however, the possibility of these two pillars playing is still uncertain. The absence of Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Kieu Trinh and Tu Linh is a huge disadvantage for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team. However, in more than half a month of preparation for the tournament, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet has fully prepared replacement personnel options. "The most important thing is that Vietnamese players need to be confident in developing their abilities. When competing against stronger opponents, spirit is a very important factor. For those who rarely have the opportunity to play in international competitions, this is an opportunity to hone their skills. The goal of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is to compete and learn from strong opponents," said Mr. Nguyen Tuan Kiet.
VakifBank has won the Women's Club World Cup three times and is considered much stronger than the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
