The 8th Ho Chi Minh City Open Dance Festival will take place from October 18 to 21 at the Army Theater (140 Cong Hoa Street, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City). This festival will feature 36 works by 20 groups and individuals.

Mr. Le Nguyen Hieu - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Dance Artists Association said that this Festival is an opportunity for artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Dance Artists Association to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and for artists to exchange their profession, accumulate experience and skills in artistic activities.

People's Artist Ha The Dung - Chairman of the Jury Council said that the number of entries this year is similar to previous seasons, but the quality of each work has changed significantly. Many new topics have been exploited and invested in, showing the positivity of the young artists towards the dance industry in the new era.
