Vietnam Chess Federation finds new funding source

Accordingly, the Vietnam Chess Federation will receive a sponsorship of more than 500 million VND/year. This is the financial source from the Dopper Herz brand for the national youth chess championship. The contract lasts for 2 years and the total amount is more than 1 billion VND.

At the ceremony, the sponsor representative said that the unit's goal is to show interest in improving the physical health of Vietnamese chess athletes, including chess.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Thang, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Chess Federation, emphasized that this is a valuable source of motivation for Vietnamese chess, for managers as well as chess coaches and athletes. Receiving sponsorship shows the growing attraction of Vietnamese chess to the community, including businesses.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Thang, this valuable sponsorship for Vietnamese chess will help chess players better understand the combination of physical health and mental clarity to achieve the highest efficiency in training and competition.

In recent times, with the strong development of chess tournaments in Vietnam as well as the impressive achievements of Vietnamese players at international playgrounds, the Vietnam Chess Federation has continuously received the support of businesses.

Previously, the Vietnam Chess Federation also received exclusive sponsorship of costumes for the national chess championship, national team chess championship and national excellent chess championship from 2024 to the end of 2028, for excellent athletes.
