At the meeting, the Banking Journalists Association reported to the working delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association Inspection Board on the results of task implementation from 2023 to present.
Accordingly, the Banking Journalists Association has effectively implemented various aspects of work, including: Fostering political awareness, improving professional qualifications, and educating professional ethics for members. Members of the Associations actively participate in professional activities in press agencies, performing well the political tasks of the unit. The activities of the Associations are closely following the work programs of the unit, the Executive Committee of the Association and the Vietnam Journalists Association.

The Association has proactively consulted with press agencies in the industry to develop regulations and rules to help reporters work legally, avoid occupational risks, including the process of producing news and articles, ensuring requirements on content quality and accurate information such as: Regulations on creating sources, assessing and protecting sources. Protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members when practicing.
In general, members strictly comply with and implement the Press Law, the Code of Professional Ethics and the Rules for Using Social Networks for Vietnamese Journalists; strictly comply with and implement the propaganda directions of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Banking sector.
From 2023 to present, the Banking Journalists Association has not had any members who violated the Code of Ethics for Journalists and the Rules for Using Social Media for Vietnamese Journalists that were reviewed and handled. Members have strictly followed the principles and purposes of operation during their work and journalistic activities.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Banking Times, Permanent Vice President of the Association and members of the Executive Committee of the Banking Journalists Association discussed and proposed a number of contents to the Vietnam Journalists Association. In particular, organizing training on inspection and supervision for Association officials; promptly issuing guidance documents to be more proactive in implementing the program to support high-quality press works. Promoting cooperation and experience exchange between inspection organizations, creating a close-knit network between inspection organizations, press organizations, and management agencies. Making recommendations to competent authorities on restoring the legal seals for the Associations and Branches under the Vietnam Journalists Association.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Inspection Department, Vietnam Journalists Association, assessed that the Banking Journalists Association has done a good job in inspection and supervision to protect the legitimate rights and interests of its members. It has created favorable conditions for members to work, and continued to proactively coordinate and monitor, reminding members to properly implement the Code of Ethics for Journalists and the Rules for Using Social Networks for Vietnamese Journalists.
With the strength of the Banking Journalists Association being the consensus and solidarity, in addition to performing properly in the profession and fulfilling the association's policies, the Association also actively participates in the association's movements. The Banking Journalists Association also does a good job in professional training, with no complaints or denunciations.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan suggested that the Banking Journalists Association should encourage and motivate members to write articles reflecting good people, good deeds, and inspiring positivity; and proactively choose topics to participate in journalism awards.
