Lunar New Year 2025 holiday schedule for students nationwide

Up to now, more than 40 localities nationwide have announced the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule for students, lasting from 9-17 days.


The 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule is specified in the 2024-2025 school year plan framework of each province and city. However, this schedule may change, depending on the actual situation.

Below is the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule for students in some provinces and cities that has been announced, updated by VTC News:

Kon Tum is currently the locality with the longest school break, starting from January 24 to February 7, 2025. Because February 7 is Friday, students in this province will have two more weekend days off. Thus, Kon Tum students will have a 17-day Lunar New Year holiday in 2025 (including weekends).

Hanoi, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Lam Dong, Hai Phong... are places where students have the least 9 days off.
