Green Wave Achievement Award Nomination
At the ceremony, the organizers also officially announced the honor of two veteran musicians Duong Thu and Bao Chan with the Green Wave Achievement Award, in recognition of their great contributions to Vietnamese music. Over the decades, their compositions have not only created brilliant milestones for the Green Wave program but also become a launching pad for a series of excellent singers, contributing to shaping the flow of modern Vietnamese music.
Nominate a phenomenal song
It is not an exaggeration to say that 2024 is the year of "yang sheng yin waning" in the music industry, because male faces have truly dominated with the number of people almost double that of female faces. This year, Son Tung M-TP leads with 5 nominations, including Song of the Year (Don't Make My Heart Hurt), Phenomenal Song (Don't Make My Heart Hurt), Producer of the Year, MV of the Year and Male Singer/Rapper of the Year.

Meanwhile, Phan Manh Quynh, an artist loved for his personal and emotional musical style, holds 4 nominations. After his refusal, he appeared in the nominations for Song of the Year and Phenomenal Song. This is a rare time that an OST of a movie has achieved this at the Blue Wave Awards. In addition, his album CineLove was also nominated in the Album of the Year category and Phan Manh Quynh himself was nominated for Male Singer/Rapper of the Year, affirming a year of energetic and quality activities. Vu. is not far behind with 3 nominations including the categories of Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Male Singer/Rapper of the Year.

On the female side, Bich Phuong and Vu Cat Tuong each have 2 nominations. Director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu also has 2 nominations in the MV of the Year category for Hoa Ca (theme song “Anh trai vuon ngan cong gai”) and Khong ra gi, the latest music product of Truc Nhan.
Standing out in the nomination list is the explosion of a generation of young artists emerging from reality TV shows. HIEUTHUHAI, Quang Hung MasterD, Lou Hoang, RHYDER, Duong Domic, Phap Kieu and Captain Boy are the names holding many nominations in the categories of Blue Wave 2024. Meanwhile, Anh Trai Vuon Ngan Cong Gai is no less exciting with the participation of famous artists such as Soobin, Binz, SlimV, Cuong Seven, Touliver and director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu. The competition between these two leading music reality TV shows has created an interesting highlight, contributing to making the nomination categories more exciting than ever.

The Da LAB band with their debut album M∞n is also a highlight in this year's nominations, because M∞n is not only a milestone in the band's musical career but also the final product with all four members, which has a special meaning for fans. The album M∞n is an emotional story about the maturity, connection and passion for music of Da LAB, closing a memorable journey of these four faces.

It is impossible not to mention the interestingness of the Breakthrough Singer category when all 5 nominees belong to male faces and all have made a big impression thanks to music reality TV shows. Lou Hoang, Quang Hung MasterD and RHYDER "surpassed themselves" from Anh trai say hi, while SOOBIN and Quoc Thien made a strong breakthrough from Anh trai vu ngan cong gai. Their presence affirms the great influence of these two shows in the Vietnamese music market this year.

The Male Singer/Rapper of the Year category at Lan Song Xanh 2024 brings together the leading names in terms of audience traffic in Vietnam today. HIEUTHUHAI and Quang Hung MasterD made a strong impression through the program Anh trai say hi, with many personal hits both in the program. Phan Manh Quynh was successful with the soundtrack of the film MAI and the album CineLove, and will soon have his first concert in his career in Ho Chi Minh City. Vu. had a brilliant 2024 with the album Bao mau cua noi ty with a series of hits such as: Neu nhung ty noi, Danh het xuan thi de cho nhau, Nhung cau huo bo quen, Binh yen and two large-scale concerts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

In the Female Singer/Rapper of the Year category, Ha Nhi made her mark with the hit song "Khuy thay" and the successful "She In Shine" tour series in 5 major cities that always sold out, demonstrating the strong appeal of this female singer. Hoa Minzy continued to shine with the hit "Ken ca chon canh", affirming her position in the hearts of fans. In the near future, this female singer will have a large-scale fan meeting in Hanoi. Bich Phuong returned to the music race with the creative MV "Nang chau tieu sau". Vu Cat Tuong continued to cause a storm with "Tung la", while tlinh was successful with her harmonious combination with Soobin in "Ai ma biet duoc" and with LowG in "Phong Zìn Zìn". Each artist brought a unique musical color, creating an interesting and attractive race.
