Award Ceremony for the "Beautiful Photos of Thai Binh" Contest

(NADS) - On the morning of March 20th, the Organizing Committee of the "Beautiful Photos of Thai Binh " photo contest held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the best works. The contest aimed to honor the beauty of Thai Binh province through the creative perspectives of photographers from within and outside the province.

The competition attracted a large number of professional and amateur photographers, with hundreds of entries reflecting the authentic life, culture, and people of Thai Binh. After a fair and thorough evaluation process, the Jury selected the best works to award prizes: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 5 Consolation Prizes. In addition, the Organizing Committee also selected 30 outstanding works to be displayed at an exhibition within the framework of the competition's closing ceremony and awards presentation.

Mr. Pham Van Nghiem, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thai Binh province and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, presented the Gold Medal to photographer Nguyen Thanh Son.

In particular, photographer Thanh Son from the Hai Phong Photography Association won first prize with his photo "Brightening the Coastal Region"; the two second prizes went to two photographers from the Thai Binh Photography Association: photographer Le Huu Dung with his photo "Water puppetry in Nguyen Xa village - A cultural heritage that needs to be preserved and developed" and photographer Nguyen Duc Vien with his photo "Rotating palanquin procession".

The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists has officially sponsored the competition and awarded certificates to the first, second, and third prize winners. Simultaneously, the Organizing Committee has also issued official decisions regarding the rankings and awarded certificates to the winning authors.

According to the judging panel, the quality of the entries this year was quite consistent, with rich content that closely adhered to the theme and guidelines of the Organizing Committee. The photographers explored diverse perspectives, from majestic natural landscapes and glittering city streets to the everyday life of the people of Thai Binh.

The competition not only attracted a large number of participants but was also organized systematically and professionally, ensuring fairness throughout the judging process. In particular, thanks to thorough preparation and close coordination between the Organizing Committee and relevant units, the competition achieved significant success, contributing to promoting a positive image of Thai Binh to the public.
