Award Ceremony of the "Beautiful Thai Binh Photo" Contest

(NADS) - On the morning of March 20, the Organizing Committee of the "Beautiful Photos of Thai Binh" photo contest held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the best works. The contest aims to honor the beauty of Thai Binh province through the creative perspectives of photographers inside and outside the province.

The contest attracted a large number of professional and amateur photographers, with hundreds of entries that truly reflected the life, culture and people of Thai Binh. After a fair and thorough evaluation process, the Jury selected the best works to award: 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 03 Third Prizes, 05 Encouragement Prizes. In addition, the Organizing Committee also selected 30 excellent works to display at the exhibition within the framework of the contest's Summary and Awarding Conference.

Mr. Pham Van Nghiem, Vice Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Thai Binh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee awarded the Gold Medal to Artist Nguyen Thanh Son.

In which, Artist Thanh Son, Hai Phong Photography Association won the first prize with the photo "Brightening the coastal region"; 02 second prizes went to 2 Artists of Thai Binh Photography Association: Artist Le Huu Dung with the photo "Nguyen Xa village water puppetry - Cultural heritage that needs to be preserved and developed" and Artist Nguyen Duc Vien with the photo "Pallet procession".

The Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists has issued a written sponsorship for the contest and granted certificates to the works that won first, second, and third prizes. At the same time, the Organizing Committee has also made an official decision to rank the prizes and grant certificates to the authors whose works won prizes.

According to the Jury, the quality of the entries this year is quite even, with rich content, closely following the theme and direction of the Organizing Committee. The photographers have exploited a variety of perspectives, from majestic natural landscapes, sparkling city lights to the daily life of Thai Binh people.

The contest not only attracted a large number of participants but was also organized methodically and professionally, ensuring fairness throughout the judging process. In particular, thanks to careful preparation and close coordination between the Organizing Committee and related units, the contest achieved remarkable success, contributing to promoting the beautiful image of Thai Binh to the public.
