The 20th anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024) is a special occasion for Thanh Hoa province to recognize and honor the great efforts and contributions of the business community and entrepreneurs in the province. Preparations need to be carried out carefully and solemnly, creating a good impression of the companionship and solidarity between the government and the business community - that is the conclusion of the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi at the meeting to listen to the report on the implementation of the Plan to organize the ceremony to honor outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa province in 2024.
On the morning of October 7, Comrade Nguyen Van Thi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to listen to a report on the implementation of the Plan to organize a ceremony to honor typical enterprises and entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa province in 2024.

Attending the meeting were representatives of provincial departments, branches, unions, Nghi Son Economic Zone Management Board and provincial Industrial Parks, Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh Branch (VCCI Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh Branch), and Provincial Business Association.

According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment, implementing Plan No. 198/KH-UBND, dated September 16, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing the Ceremony to honor typical enterprises and entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa province in 2024, the assigned units have been actively implementing work contents related to celebration and logistics work.
The content for the live broadcast of the honoring ceremony on the evening of October 11; information and propaganda work; and organization of welcoming activities are also being urgently prepared and implemented by the units.
The conference also agreed on the selection of the layout; listened to reports on the progress of the script development for the live TV program; added and adjusted the performances; deployed security and order work, ensured power supply... so that the honoring ceremony could take place completely and solemnly.
Representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism spoke at the meeting.
Regarding the selection of enterprises and entrepreneurs to be honored and rewarded, based on the proposals of departments, branches, Nghi Son Economic Zone Management Board and provincial Industrial Parks, Provincial Business Association..., the Department of Home Affairs has received commendation proposals from 88 enterprises and 41 entrepreneurs.
At the conference, based on current legal regulations on emulation and rewards; at the same time, through reviewing and collecting opinions on the law compliance of units such as: Provincial Tax Department, Provincial Social Insurance, Provincial Police, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Foreign Affairs and related units; production and business results, contributions to the socio-economy and social security of enterprises and entrepreneurs, the conference unanimously proposed 88 enterprises and entrepreneurs to be awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Chairman of the Provincial Business Association gave his opinion on the selection of businesses and entrepreneurs to receive Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Concluding the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi highly appreciated the preparation and active coordination of relevant departments, branches and units in implementing tasks in Plan No. 198/KH-UBND.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in 2024, production and business activities will still face many difficulties due to the impact of political fluctuations, inflation and global economic recession; however, with intelligence and responsibility towards the community, entrepreneurs have always strived to overcome difficulties, promoting the spirit of "peacetime soldiers" to lead businesses to overcome difficulties.
The contributions of the Thanh Hoa business community have contributed significantly to economic growth, social stability, especially budget revenue and job creation for workers. Therefore, the honor program implemented by Thanh Hoa province aims to encourage and motivate entrepreneurs to dare to think, dare to do, work creatively, create prestigious and quality products and services, continue to contribute to building an increasingly strong business community and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.
He affirmed that the work of reviewing and selecting enterprises and entrepreneurs to be honored was evaluated very objectively by the council based on voting and evaluation based on practical criteria of revenue, production capacity, product brand, compliance with production and business laws, environment, ensuring regimes and policies for employees and contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.
He assigned the Department of Home Affairs to coordinate with relevant units to urgently complete the review documents; at the same time, publicly post the list of enterprises and entrepreneurs to be honored on the media to continue to collect opinions from individuals and organizations.
Outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs will be honored and rewarded at the Ceremony to honor outstanding businesses and entrepreneurs of Thanh Hoa province in 2024.
