Attending the program, on behalf of the Board of Directors, there were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Nghiep, Party Committee Secretary, Permanent Vice Principal of the School; Prof. Dr. People's Teacher Vu Van Hoa, Vice Principal; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Duc Tru, Vice Principal, representatives of leaders of units, departments, and centers.
In particular, attending today's ceremony were many business representatives, 60 former students who are members of the HUBT Entrepreneurs Club and HUBT Student Startup Club.

HUBT Entrepreneurs Club was established under Decision No. 08/QD-TTKSVL dated May 15, 2023 with the principles of voluntariness, autonomy, self-management; democracy, equality, publicity, transparency and consensus; self-financing, non-profit activities; compliance with the law, the charter of Hanoi University of Business and Technology and the charter of the Club recognized by the University; developing membership so that many former PhD students, former graduate students, and former students of the University who are currently business owners know and actively participate in the activities of the Club.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Dang, Director of the Center for Employment Survey and Entrepreneurship Training, said that in 2019, with the approval of the Board of Directors, the Center for Employment Survey and Entrepreneurship Training established the HUBT Student Entrepreneurship Club with nearly 80 members participating.
In the past 4 years, the Club has effectively helped the school organize 2 startup idea competitions with nearly 40 participating ideas, organize 2 job fairs, the first in 2020 with nearly 3,000 students participating and more than 600 students admitted, the second with over 6,800 students participating and nearly 2,300 students admitted, organize the Startup Journey Forum with more than 1,000 students attending.
In general, the student club operates effectively, providing a useful and interesting playground for students. In 2021 and 2022, the Center for Vocational Training and Employment will cooperate with over 100 businesses to recruit students and invite 50 business leaders to participate in teaching and sharing practical skills classes outside of their major to help students of the School graduate and get a job right away and work in accordance with their major.

Speaking at the program, Vice Principal, journalist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Duc Tru believes that the Center for Employment Survey and Entrepreneurship Training has specific measures to actively support the implementation of activities of the HUBT Entrepreneurs Club.
The school always supports and is ready to create all conditions in terms of facilities so that the activities of the Club reach the alumni and former students of the school more and more deeply. The quality of training is partly reflected in the level of success of alumni and former students. A prestigious and long-standing university is a university with many successful students and trainees after graduation.
Therefore, the establishment of HUBT Entrepreneurs Club is necessary and timely. This is a difficult task and requires a lot of time and effort to connect because former students and alumni are very busy with their business, having to deal with many stages of organization and operation.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Pham Hoang Anh, Director of Hoang Chau Company Limited, a former student of the 6th course, currently a PhD student of the 7th course, Chairman of the HUBT Entrepreneurs Club, was extremely honored and proud to say: “With that goal of connecting business leaders, entrepreneurs who are alumni, former students, former PhD students of the school and the school's partners to inspire and spread the spirit of entrepreneurship and business establishment to students, creating conditions to support students when they graduate to gain practical knowledge and skills close to the recruitment needs of businesses, sharing startup experiences, from which students after graduation have many opportunities to find jobs, be confident, steady in their work and have the ability to start a successful business”.
