Italy Striker Lautaro Martinez scored the equalizer to draw 1-1 for Inter at Juventus, thereby preventing their rivals from taking the lead in Serie A after round 13.
In the 27th minute, Juventus opened the scoring from a counter-attack. After Federico Chiesa passed to the left wing, Dusan Vlahovic ran into the penalty area to receive a cross from his teammate, then fired a shot into the far corner, beating goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Despite being behind, Inter did not lose their composure. The Serie A leaders needed just six minutes to prove their mettle. After Marcus Thuram's right-wing cross, Lautaro Martinez beat Federico Gatti, then shot diagonally to tie the score at 1-1.
This is Lautaro Martinez's 13th goal since the start of the 2023-2024 Serie A season. The Argentine striker continues to lead the race for the Golden Boot with six goals more than the two players chasing him, Domenico Berardi and Olivier Giroud.

Thuram has only scored four Serie A goals, but has registered his fifth assist. The Frenchman is joint top of the assist charts with Sassuolo defender Jeremy Toljan. The next seven players all have four assists, including Roma's Paulo Dybala.
In terms of the game, Inter was better than Juventus. The visitors controlled the ball 65% and shot eight times, while the "Old Lady" only controlled 35% and shot four times. However, facing Juventus's focused defense, Inter could not optimize the number of scoring opportunities.
Early in the second half, Thuram missed a chance that could have given Inter the win. After a backheel pass from Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan broke free and crossed into the Juventus penalty area. However, Thuram tapped the ball into the hands of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
After the draw at the Allianz Stadium, Inter continued to lead Serie A with 32 points. Meanwhile, Juventus ranked second with two points less. The "Old Lady" missed the opportunity to return to the top and beat their competitors. AC Milan is ranked third with 26 points, while defending champion Napoli is ranked fourth with 24 points.
