The control tower is 123 m high and equipped with a radar on top of the tower, with a construction area of about 80 m2, a tower body diameter of about 10 m, a control cabin at the airport with an area of about 150 m2 and 2 parking control cabins with an area of about 70 m2 each.

Regarding the second runway, which has just been approved by the National Assembly for investment, Minister of Transport Tran Hong Minh requested the investor and related units to promptly implement procedures, and if necessary, appoint contractors with experience in constructing the first runway to shorten the progress and must be completed before December 31, 2025.
