Provincial People's Committee leaders received the Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Ho Chi Minh City

On May 16, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received Mr. Phonesy Bounmixay, Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Ho Chi Minh City, to pay a courtesy visit and work with the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed the Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic for his affection and visit to the province. He introduced some of Ninh Thuan's outstanding socio-economic results in recent times, some unique cultural features, potentials and advantages in the fields of energy, tourism, high-tech agriculture, etc. He hoped that both sides would build a good relationship; the Consul General would act as a bridge, supporting businesses, investors, and relevant agencies of Ninh Thuan and Laos to have the opportunity to learn about each other, find cooperation and investment opportunities. Ninh Thuan province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for Lao investors and businesses to come to research, survey, and connect for investment.

Vietnam and Laos have long had a good cooperative relationship; especially Vietnam has provided much support to Laos in the fields of health, education, etc. The Consul General hoped that both sides would continue to maintain this good relationship; at the same time, he would promote his role as a bridge to promote the cooperative relationship between Laos and Ninh Thuan province, contributing to the development of Vietnam and Laos.
