That is the sharing of interns who are studying their final year of public relations at the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City (UEF).
On the afternoon of November 2, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, including Mr. Do Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the University Council and Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice Principal, visited interns at Thanh Nien Newspaper and discuss some cooperation contents between the school and the newspaper in the coming time.
During the meeting, Minh Anh (majoring in journalism and communications), one of the 7 students interning in the event organization department, said she was very lucky to be interning in the professional and dynamic environment of Thanh Nien Newspaper.
Mr. Do Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the School Board and Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice Principal, visited the working area of the interns.
"We have been supported and guided enthusiastically by the newspaper staff, and given the opportunity to directly participate in the newspaper's events as real employees. Thanks to that, all the knowledge I learned at school has been effectively applied," Minh Anh said.
Minh Anh interned with Anh Thu, a student majoring in event organization. Anh Thu also expressed that being selected to intern at the event organization department of Thanh Nien Newspaper helped her develop her strengths and learn a lot of knowledge and skills.
"I was able to directly participate in the newspaper's meeting with partners, draft documents, give presentations, and participate in organizing the newspaper's 25th Anniversary Exam Consulting event... This is a valuable opportunity for me to apply the knowledge I have learned into practice and learn many more skills. I always think that I have to take advantage of this opportunity well, make an impression on the newspaper so that in the future other students of the school will have the same opportunity as me," Anh Thu shared.
Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance visited Thanh Nien Newspaper's office to arrange internships for students
Leaders of the University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City expressed surprise when Thanh Nien Newspaper arranged separate offices and desks for interns and created conditions for students to participate in all activities related to communication and organizing events of the newspaper.
Mr. Do Quoc Anh commented that Thanh Nien Newspaper accepting and creating conditions for students of the school to do internships and demonstrate their abilities is extremely valuable.
Dr. Nhan Cam Tri also said that the school is always ready to send Thanh Nien Newspaper its best students for internships and work, contributing to providing quality human resources for the newspaper.
Previously, on July 11, 2023, Thanh Nien Newspaper signed a cooperation agreement on training and communication with 7 universities in Ho Chi Minh City, including Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance. The remaining units include University of Finance and Marketing, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Hoa Sen University, Hong Bang International University, and Gia Dinh University.
