Kinhtedothi - On December 19, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Document No. 4277/UBND-NC on directing the resolution and overcoming of the consequences of the fire at the coffee shop at 258 Pham Van Dong Street, Co Nhue 2 Ward, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
At 11:03 p.m. on December 18, a fire broke out causing serious consequences (in terms of both people and property) at 258 Pham Van Dong (Bac Tu District). To promptly overcome the consequences of the above fire, the City People's Committee directed and assigned the Director of the City Police to preside over and coordinate with the Chairman of the Bac Tu Liem District People's Committee and related units to focus on overcoming the consequences, promptly investigate, clarify the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of organizations and individuals and handle them according to the provisions of law.
Along with that, the City People's Committee assigned: The Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to coordinate with the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem District and related units to organize visits, encouragement, and material and spiritual support for the families of the victims according to regulations; The Director of the Department of Education and Training to organize visits and encouragement for the families of the victims who are students studying at the city's schools in a timely manner, according to regulations (if any).
The City People's Committee also requested the Directors of departments, branches, and units: City Police, Health, and Bac Tu Liem District People's Committee, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to ensure environmental sanitation in the area where the fire occurred; report to the Chairman of the City People's Committee to direct matters beyond their authority.
In addition, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities continue to strictly implement the Directives and Resolutions of the Central Government, especially Directive No. 01/CT-TTg dated January 3, 2023 of the Prime Minister; Directive No. 25-CT/TU dated September 20, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; Resolution No. 26/NQ-HDND dated September 22, 2023 of the City People's Council; Official Dispatch No. 04/CD-UBND dated May 24, 2024 of the Chairman of the City People's Committee. Focus on advising on the effective implementation of Decision No. 4702/QD-UBND dated September 6, 2024, Plan No. 369/KH-UBND dated December 17, 2024 of the City People's Committee to implement the Project to improve capacity and ensure fire prevention and fighting safety and rescue in the capital for the period up to 2025, with a vision to 2030 and Resolution No. 33/2024/NQ-HDND on regulations on applying measures to request the suspension of electricity and water supply for a number of constructions violating fire prevention and fighting regulations.
The city also requires districts, towns, and units to continue to promote propaganda and mobilize households and households combining production and business to equip and install early fire warning systems to prevent incidents, reduce the risk of fire and explosion, and damage caused by fire and explosion.
