Hai Thuong Primary and Secondary School was merged from Hai Thuong Primary School with Hai Thuong Secondary School in August 2018. In the 2023-2024 school year, the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Vinh Linh district organized 19 vocational training classes for rural workers with a total of 490 students. At the end of the course, 100% of students were granted certificates in accordance with regulations and created jobs for themselves, contributing to the development of the family and local economy.
The Center has cooperated with secondary schools, colleges and universities to organize training for workers in the district, including 1 university class with 51 students, 19 vocational secondary classes combined with cultural studies with 470 students. At the end of the 2023-2024 school year, nearly 97.5% of students graduated, the unit is in the top of the province in terms of high school graduation rate in the continuing education sector; was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister, and recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as an "Excellent Labor Collective".
