Russian leaders assessed that the Russia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership – based on fine traditions of friendship and mutual respect – is at a high level, with cooperation in the economic, trade, cultural fields along with promising fields such as industry, energy, science, and technology, which was affirmed through constructive talks with rich content during the recent State visit to Vietnam by Russian President Putin.
Russian leaders said that deepening cooperation with Vietnam is one of the priority directions in the foreign policy of the Russian Federation in the Asia-Pacific region.
