Hai Duong Provincial Police leaders visit wounded soldiers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign

The working delegation of Hai Duong Provincial Police visited and presented gifts to Colonel Nguyen Van Chung, former Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, a wounded soldier of the People's Police who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the working delegation of Hai Duong Provincial Police led by Colonel Bui Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, recently visited and presented gifts to Colonel Nguyen Van Chung, former Deputy Director of the Provincial Police - a wounded soldier of the People's Police who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in the past.

At the private home of Colonel Nguyen Van Chung In Hai Duong City, on behalf of the Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department, Colonel Bui Manh Hung sent his regards and best wishes to the comrade and his family. Although he is over 90 years old, Colonel Nguyen Van Chung is still lucid and together with the working delegation reviewed the heroic history of the nation 70 years ago. Colonel Nguyen Van Chung participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign from October 1953. On April 23, 1954, he was wounded at Hill C1 and was recognized as a 51% disabled veteran...
