Leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade inspect the Tet service situation at CO.OPMART Ly Thuong Kiet

On the morning of February 6, 2024, Ms. Phan Thi Thang - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade , Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Phuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of central agencies and Ho Chi Minh City came to Co.opmart Ly Thuong Kiet to inspect the preparation of goods for the 2024 Lunar New Year. At the meeting, the delegation highly appreciated the Tet service of the Co.opmart supermarket system. The supermarket ensures a source of Tet goods with stable prices, food safety and hygiene from all stages of business. In particular, to meet the diverse shopping needs of consumers, Co.opmart focuses on promoting sales through online channels; implementing electronic payments, home delivery for customers and proactively connecting with provinces and cities, ready to provide Tet gift baskets to consumers.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc - General Director of Saigon Co.op informed about the purchasing power of the whole system increasing gradually from 15-20% each week of business serving Tet. From 26th Tet to 30th Tet (from now until February 9) is the peak shopping time for Tet of people, so Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food... focus resources, continuously put Tet goods on the shelves, pump strong promotions into Tet items such as banh chung, banh tet, pickled onions, fruits displayed on the five-fruit tray, ancestral altar tray... Currently, Saigon Co.op has also increased operating hours on the system from 6am to 10pm, at the same time focusing resources to better serve the needs of people, especially during peak hours from 9am-11am and 4pm-8pm.
