The first Vietnam Business Culture Day program with the theme "Vietnamese and European business culture, intertwined perspectives" took place on September 13, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Cultural Center in France.
Attending the opening ceremony and the Forum were Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang; Mr. Le Doan Hop, former member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture and Information; Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Head of the Organizing Committee for the implementation of the campaign "Building Vietnamese Corporate Culture", Chairman of the Association for Development of Corporate Culture (VNABC); Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Phuong Hoa; Ms. Anoa Sussal Dussol, Vietnam Tourism Ambassador to France, a number of Vietnamese Ambassadors to Europe, Vietnamese, French and European enterprises; experts and researchers on economics and culture...
Before the opening ceremony, delegates attending the program took a minute to commemorate the Vietnamese soldiers and people who died in the recent storm No. 3 (Yagi).
The first time Vietnam Business Culture Day was held abroad, it marked a step forward in the international integration process of VNABC and the Vietnamese business community to spread the will and soft power of Vietnam abroad.
The event is even more meaningful when the Organizing Committee chose to take place at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France on the occasion of the Vietnamese Embassy in France's National Day reception.
Authorized by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation Nguyen Phuong Hoa read the congratulatory letter from Minister Nguyen Van Hung to the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Corporate Culture Day Program.

In the letter, the Minister emphasized that the Party and State always identify enterprises as the center, the subject of production and business activities, the "heart" of the economy, making extremely important contributions to the miracles of the Vietnamese economy in the period of innovation.
“Since 2016, November 10 has been chosen as Vietnam Corporate Culture Day, demonstrating the importance of corporate culture in the country's sustainable development, as well as the Government's attention to the Vietnamese business community; contributing to promoting the building and development of business culture in Vietnam; honoring entrepreneurs and businesses that have effectively contributed to the country's development and international integration,” Minister Nguyen Van Hung emphasized.
In the letter, the Minister wrote: “I highly appreciate the initiative and determination of the Organizing Committee to organize the Vietnamese Business Culture Day abroad for the first time. With the theme “Vietnamese and European business culture: intertwined perspectives”, I believe that with the efforts of the Organizing Committee, the close coordination of the Vietnamese Embassy in France and relevant agencies, the Program will achieve practical results, contributing to connecting Vietnamese businesses with French and European businesses”.
On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Van Hung sent his best wishes and sincere feelings to the delegates, distinguished guests, businesses and entrepreneurs attending the Program.
“I hope that in the coming time, the Vietnamese business community at home and abroad will be increasingly consolidated, promoted, and strongly developed in both quantity and quality, inheriting the tradition of patriotism, promoting the spirit of self-reliance, self-reliance, and dedication to the nation and people,” Minister Nguyen Van Hung said.

Corporate culture is the identity card of an enterprise to identify and position itself in the domestic and international markets. According to Mr. Ho Anh Tuan, Head of Organizing Committee 248, Chairman of the Vietnam Business Culture Development Association, this is the first time the program of Vietnamese Business Culture Day abroad has been held in France with the highlight being the Forum "Business Culture - Interwoven perspective of Vietnam and Europe.
"We hope to not only spread the good values of Vietnamese business culture, but also absorb the quintessence of French business culture in particular and European business culture in general, in order to connect sustainable trade between communities: Vietnamese businesses, Vietnamese businesses abroad and European businesses.
The forum will be a place to share, exchange, debate... from both theoretical and practical perspectives to clarify the differences and similarities between Vietnamese business culture and France, and Europe, lessons learned from failures and successes of businesses and suggestions for awareness and action to promote similarities, overcome differences, integrate and develop sustainably", Mr. Tuan emphasized.
After the opening ceremony, the Forum “Vietnamese and European Business Culture: Interwoven Perspectives” held many activities to contribute to connecting Vietnamese entrepreneurs and businesses in France and Europe through building and developing corporate culture; connecting and supporting Vietnamese businesses that have, are and will invest and do business abroad with the Vietnamese business community and associations in France and Europe.

The forum includes two discussion sessions: “Business culture and international integration of enterprises”, “Cultural exchange: Turning challenges into opportunities”.
Speakers and delegates representing businesses discussed the advantages and challenges of cultural exchange, shared views and analyzed the importance of culture and corporate culture for the sustainable development of businesses, and the cultural and business environment of Europe and Vietnam.
Also on this occasion, speakers and delegates exchanged experiences of success and failure in management from a cultural perspective, on how to adapt to different business environments, and the adaptation of Vietnamese companies to the cultural business environment in France and Europe.
