The festival is expected to take place on August 15 at the Rehabilitation Hospital - Occupational Disease Treatment.
Here, young doctors have the opportunity to approach, listen to introductions and learn about the recruitment needs of hospitals and medical centers. At the end of the festival, hospitals, medical centers and young doctors will sign a memorandum of understanding.
Currently, more than 30 specialized hospitals, city general hospitals, district hospitals and medical centers have registered to receive patients, this number far exceeds the number of doctors participating in the program.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, the pilot program of sending newly graduated young doctors to participate in an 18-month training program at hospitals according to regulations of the Ministry of Health and associated with practice at ward and commune health stations is a good opportunity for doctors to approach patients at an early stage. This helps doctors to identify early signs of illness and treat patients to recover more quickly.
Besides, practicing at grassroots health stations helps young doctors understand and share the difficulties of patients and people, thereby helping young doctors treat diseases better.
