High school students take part in business problem solving challenge for the first time

Fulbright University Vietnam and Olympia High School jointly organize the business problem solving challenge - Vietnam Business Innovation Challenge (VBIC) 2024.

The competition hopes to foster a love of business, critical thinking and innovation in the young generation. At the same time, it hopes to equip them with the knowledge, skills and values ​​to create a more positive business environment in the future.

The competition creates an environment for young people to face business challenges, learn from experts, have the opportunity to participate in national and international tournaments, study in depth in a university environment and develop their careers.

At the same time, the competition will bring real-world business challenges for students to solve together with a human-centered, multidisciplinary approach.

During the process of participating in VBIC, young people will be trained and guided by a team of experienced consultants and coaches, who are founders, Chairmen of the Board of Directors, Directors, and Senior Managers of many prestigious enterprises.

The contest is open to those aged 14-18 who are studying at high schools in Southeast Asia. To participate in the contest, contestants must go through 3 rounds, including:

Round 1, selecting applications. After receiving the topic which is a real business challenge of the enterprise, within 20 days the teams send to the organizer a video presenting the analysis and solution of the group.

Round 2, selection. Teams have 15 hours to prepare and submit their analysis and solutions. Teams will then present their results online to a panel of judges.

Round 3, final. Teams will have 3 hours to prepare, then present their results offline to the judges.

To participate in the program, candidates must meet 3 criteria: Students have basic knowledge or interest in one of the following fields (Business Foundation; Economics and Finance; Problem Solving and Analytical Skills). Candidates must be fluent in English, to solve the tasks of the competition entirely in English. Candidates register in teams of 3 members.

When participating in the competition, students can win attractive prizes such as: The top 3 best teams will be fully sponsored for a week of study experience at Fulbright University Vietnam; the top 10 best teams will receive scholarships to partially support the cost of participating in the Entre Tour for a week in the Philippines.

The top 50 teams will receive scholarships for a number of courses at EF Education First Vietnam; in addition, the competition also has many other in-kind prizes and support...
