The bus driver who hit the traffic police on Highway 38B has arrived at the police station to work.

Previously, at about 4:50 p.m. on August 5, at km 1+800 of National Highway 38B, a working group of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, under the Traffic Police Department, Hai Duong Provincial Police, patrolled and controlled the route and discovered that passenger car 34F-009.44 traveling from Gia Loc district to Hai Duong city had violated the law by picking up and dropping off passengers at the wrong place and the driver was not wearing a seat belt while driving.

The task force signaled the vehicle to stop, but the bus driver did not comply and continued to accelerate and flee. At km 1+400 of Highway 38B, the task force stopped the vehicle and asked the driver to present his documents, but the driver did not get out of the vehicle to do so and continued to drive straight ahead.

According to a video recorded by a local resident, the traffic police stood in front of the car and signaled several times, but the driver continued to move forward, forcing the traffic police to back up a distance. The driver then fled towards Hai Duong City.

Through verification, passenger car 34F-009.44 is owned by Manh Thang Passenger and Goods Transport Cooperative, in Ngoc Lo village, Tan Viet commune (Thanh Ha), with Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, born in 1971, in Tan Viet commune, as the legal representative.

The driver is Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cong, born in 1973, in Thanh Ha town.

At about 7:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Thang and Mr. Cong went to the headquarters of Traffic Police Team No. 2 to work.

Currently, the authorities are verifying the incident to strictly handle it according to regulations.

The video of a driver hitting a traffic police officer has attracted many comments when posted on social media. Many people expressed their anger at the driver's defiant and arrogant attitude.
