Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( Nam A Bank ) has just adjusted down the mobilization interest rates for most deposit terms. This is the second interest rate reduction of Nam A Bank since the beginning of 2025.

According to the online interest rate table just announced by Nam A Bank, the 1-month term bank interest rate has decreased sharply by 0.3%/year to 4%/year, while the 2-month term bank interest rate has decreased sharply by 0.4%/year to 4.1%/year.

Bank interest rates for 3-5 month terms also decreased by 0.3%/year to 4.2%/year.

Before the adjustment, Nam A Bank was the leading bank (after Eximbank) in terms of highest deposit interest rates for terms under 6 months.

Except for the 9-month term interest rate remaining at 5.2%/year, the mobilization interest rates for the remaining terms (6-8 months; 10-36 months) were adjusted by Nam A Bank to decrease by 0.1%/year compared to the old interest rate.

Accordingly, the latest online deposit interest rate for a 6-month term with interest paid at the end of the term is 4.9%/year; for a 7-8 month term, 5.1%/year; for a 9-11 month term, 5.2%/year; for a 12-13 month term, 5.5%/year; for a 15-17 month term, 5.6%/year. The highest deposit interest rate belongs to the 18-36 month term with 5.8%/year.

Also this morning, savings interest rates at National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank ( NCB ) simultaneously decreased by 0.1%/year for all terms.

According to the An Phu savings interest rate table applied on NCB's Mobile Banking/Internet Banking from March 5, the 1-month term interest rate is 4%/year, 2-month term 4.1%/year, 3-month term 4.2%/year, 4-month term 4.3%/year, 5-month term 4.4%/year.

Interest rates for 6-7 month term deposits after reduction are 5.35%/year, 8 month term 5.4%/year, 9 month term 5.45%/year, 10 month term 5.5%/year, 11 month term 5.55%/year.

The highest interest rate at NCB is currently only 5.6%/year, applied to online deposits with terms from 12-60 months.

This is also the second time since the beginning of the year that NCB has reduced its deposit interest rates. Previously, the bank reduced the interest rates for terms from 12 to 60 months by 0.1% per year on January 2.

According to statistics, up to 9 banks reduced deposit interest rates in March, including PGBank, Viet A Bank, Kienlongbank, Bac A Bank, Eximbank, IVB, LPBank, Nam A Bank, NCB.
