Techcombank has just reduced deposit interest rates by 0.1%/year for terms from 1 to 36 months.

According to the online interest rate table applied to deposits under 1 billion VND, the term of 1-2 months is 3.25%/year, 3-5 months is 3.55%/year.

Bank interest rates for 6-11 month terms have decreased to 4.55%/year, and for 12-36 month terms, they are currently 4.75%/year.

For deposits from 1 billion VND to less than 3 billion VND, the listed mobilization interest rate is 0.05%/year higher than the above interest rate table.

Specifically, the online deposit interest rate for 1-2 month terms is 3.35%/year, 3-5 months is 3.65%/year, 6-11 months is 4.6%/year, and 12-36 months has the highest mobilization interest rate of 4.8%/year.

The highest interest rate applied by Techcombank for deposits of 3 billion VND or more is 0.2% higher per year than for deposits under 1 billion VND for terms of 1-5 months, and 0.1% higher per year for terms of 6-36 months.

In particular, online savings interest rates for 1-2 month terms are 3.45%/year, 3-5 months 3.75%/year, 6-11 months 4.65%/year, and 12-36 months 4.85%/year.

However, Techcombank also has a policy of adding interest rates from 0.05-0.1%/year for member customers. At the same time, adding 0.5%/year interest rate for customers with the first deposit with terms of 3, 6 and 12 months. Therefore, the actual mobilization interest rate depends on the deposit amount, deposit term and the level of incentives for members (Private, Priority, Inspire).

Up to now, 14 banks have reduced deposit interest rates since the beginning of March 2025, including: PGBank, Viet A Bank, Kienlongbank, Bac A Bank, Eximbank, IVB, LPBank, Nam A Bank, NCB, SHB, VCBNeo, Hong Leong Vietnam, VIB. Of which, Eximbank is the bank that has reduced interest rates twice since the beginning of the month.

Previously, right after the meeting with the State Bank on February 25, a series of banks reduced deposit interest rates in the last 3 days of February, including: BVBank, MSB, VietBank, Saigonbank, VIB, BaoVietBank.
