Celebrating the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2024)

President Ho Chi Minh once said: "Journalists are also revolutionary soldiers", soldiers on the Party's ideological front, making an important contribution to the work of protecting the ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views. Looking back over the past century, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has grown steadily, making important contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. And the team of journalists has the right to be proud of the achievements they have made, confidently taking firm steps to bring the Vietnamese revolutionary press to continue to develop strongly, fulfilling its noble mission in the work of building and defending the Fatherland. On the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21, many practical activities were organized to honor and encourage journalists.

Comrade Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Vu Duy Hoang, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presented flowers and congratulated Thai Nguyen Radio and Television Station.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Vu Duy Hoang, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; comrade Mai Thi Thuy Nga, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee came to present flowers and congratulate Thai Nguyen Radio and Television Station and press agencies on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21.

Sending best wishes to the press agencies and journalists of the province, the provincial leaders hope that the press agencies and journalists of Thai Nguyen will increasingly develop and grow, maintain the qualities and ethics of a true journalist with "bright eyes, pure heart, sharp pen", actively contribute to the cause of socio-economic development, and be worthy of being the most important and official information channel of the province; a bridge of information between the Party committees, authorities and the people of all ethnic groups in the province.

On this occasion, representatives of agencies, units and localities also came to congratulate Thai Nguyen Radio and Television Station, press agencies and journalists of the province. Over the years, together with the journalists of the province, Thai Nguyen Radio and Television Station has always strived to inherit and promote to grow, integrate into the modern press flow and become a "sharp weapon" on the ideological and cultural front of the Party Committee and the government; making great contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.

Promoting the 99-year tradition of formation and development of Vietnam's revolutionary press, nearly 70 years of establishment of Thai Nguyen Radio and Television Station, the team of journalists of the Station has, is and will continue to maintain and promote traditional values, strive to contribute more to the growth of the country's press in particular, the socio-economic development of the locality and the country in general./.
