His family chose the place where Uncle Ho left 112 years ago to find a way to save the country to visit and learn more about history; at the same time, they wanted to make the start of this year's summer for their children more meaningful and rewarding.

Young people understand more responsibility

Nha Rong Wharf is the first destination in the city tour named after Uncle Ho that Mr. Chuong designed and drove his family members on. “Before, every summer, my whole family traveled and chose other provinces and cities as destinations. My family had never done a tour of Ho Chi Minh City. This year, on the occasion of my mother coming from the countryside to visit her grandchildren, I decided to take my whole family to the monuments and landscapes in the city so that my children could understand more about the city they live in,” Mr. Chuong shared.

The tour started on the anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country, so he chose to go to Nha Rong Wharf first and then to the museums, revolutionary bases... Visiting Nha Rong Wharf, listening to the tour guide introduce the relics, telling stories about Uncle Ho, visiting to see the exhibits about the revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh, documents, pictures, artifacts about Uncle Ho on the journey to find a way to save the country, Mr. Chuong's children (in primary and secondary school) understood more about the journey to find a way to save the country of beloved Uncle Ho.

The place where Mr. Chuong’s family stopped for a long time was the area displaying the heating brick, which according to the guide, is the same type and from the same period as the brick that Uncle Ho used. “This is the second time I have come here and seen this heating brick. Looking at the relic, I can see the hardships Uncle Ho went through on his journey to find a way to save the country with his bare hands. The more I understand about Uncle Ho’s life, the more motivated I am to try to study and fulfill my responsibilities as a young person,” shared Vo Thanh Tuong (son of Mr. Vo Anh Chuong).

On the weekend when Mr. Chuong's family arrived, Nha Rong Wharf was bustling with groups of tourists, families with many children coming to visit, including many young groups. Not only sightseeing, many units also chose Nha Rong Wharf as the place to hold the Youth Union admission ceremony, honoring typical examples of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
