This is a modern retail model formed from the alliance of two leading cooperatives in Vietnam (Saigon Co.op) and Singapore (NTUC Fair Price). The Co.opXtra model has become a symbol of the most successful cooperation in the international cooperative movement and is also a testament to the good trade cooperation relationship between the two countries.
10 years ago, in May 2013, the first Co.opXtra hypermarket model of Saigon Co.op officially opened and went into operation on Linh Trung Street, Thu Duc District (now Thu Duc City), Ho Chi Minh City.

Up to now, Co.opXtra has developed a system of points of sale located in Thu Duc City and the busiest districts of Ho Chi Minh City (District 7, District 10), with an average area of each point of sale of 10,000 m2 or more. Co.opXtra is the perfect piece for Saigon Co.op to cover all corners of the market, serving all customer segments.
In addition to 80% domestic goods, Co.opXtra strongly develops the business of Fair Price branded products imported from Singapore along with many famous imported brands from countries: Korea, Japan, USA, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Every year, through a joint venture with NTUC Fair Price, Co.opXtra exports 200 - 300 tons of domestic goods including agricultural products (bananas, dragon fruit, melons, bell peppers, pepper, cooking oil, etc.); seafood (shrimp, pangasius fillets, etc.) to the Singapore market, bringing the total export value of Saigon Co.op in 2022 alone to nearly 70 billion VND.
After 10 years of establishment and development, Co.opXtra has proven to be a diverse destination suitable for all customers, from individual customers, households to small to large business/organization customers, in line with the initial criteria of "diversified, economical, interesting".

The Co.opXtra system is constantly improving online sales platforms; combining with applications such as Momo, Zalo, Grab, Shopee, Baemin, etc.; updating cashless payment methods to increase convenient services according to new consumer trends, stimulating customers to shop.
