Disciplinary action against Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee, Nghe An

At the meeting on December 2, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee reviewed, disciplined and proposed to discipline party members who violated regulations related to leadership and direction of anti-corruption and anti-negativity work, exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members; inspection and supervision work; State management of land in Cua Lo town.

At the meeting, after listening to the report of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, based on the Party's regulations, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline Ms. Pham Thi Hong Toan, member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee (responsible as the head of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee Standing Committee from September 2021 to present) with the form of Reprimand.

Propose that competent authorities consider and discipline Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, former member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee (responsible as head of the Cua Lo Town Party Standing Committee from January 2020 to August 2021).

The Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has decided to discipline the Standing Committee of Cua Lo Town Party Committee for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms with the form of Reprimand. The Inspection Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee has decided to discipline Mr. Le Thanh Long, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Cua Lo Town with the form of Reprimand.

The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee also listened to reports, reviewed the results of the review, and handled the responsibilities of party organizations and party members related to a number of projects in the province. The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee requested party organizations and party members to promptly and thoroughly overcome the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out.

Before being appointed as Deputy Minister of Education and Training, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi held positions such as Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province; Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee (Nghe An province); Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc of Agencies of Nghe An province.
