Before entering the closing session, Provincial Party Secretary - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Trung Dung informed about some contents sent by voters to the meeting via the hotline related to policies for people with meritorious services; construction plan of the road project in Nguyen Du ward (Ha Tinh city); rectifying fire and power outage response work in Thach Trung commune (Ha Tinh city); soon having a compensation plan for people whose land is recovered in the planning area of Ha Tinh University; resolving support policies for doctors who have studied postgraduate specialties at Can Loc District Medical Center according to Resolution No. 46/2021/NQ-HDND dated December 16, 2021 stipulating a number of policies to encourage the development of high-quality human resources in Ha Tinh province for the period 2022 - 2025...
At the opening of the closing session, the Secretariat of the session presented the draft, and delegates reviewed and voted to approve 27 resolutions in various fields.

Closing the session, Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Trung Dung emphasized: After 2.5 working days, the 17th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council has completed the proposed program.
The Provincial People's Council has comprehensively assessed the achieved results, pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the process of directing and implementing the socio-economic tasks in 2023 and the period of 2021 - 2023; clearly analyzed the causes of low targets; on that basis, considered and proposed tasks and solutions to implement the goals and targets in 2024; considered and approved 27 resolutions in various fields.
The session spent adequate time on the content of questioning the members of the People's Committee and this was the first session that the Provincial People's Council organized a basic questioning of all members of the People's Committee to review the contents in a synchronous manner. In general, the members of the Provincial People's Committee had a firm grasp of the current situation in their respective fields, answered frankly, clarified the issues and proposed solutions to overcome them. It is believed that with the innovations in questioning and supervision activities, the coordination between the People's Council and agencies in the political system will be more effective; the issues that voters and people are interested in and reflect on will be highly focused by the agencies to resolve difficulties and obstacles.
The meeting also organized a vote of confidence for 29 people holding positions elected by the People's Council. This is a particularly important monitoring content, showing recognition and evaluation of the efforts and achievements of the Standing members of the Provincial People's Council and members of the Provincial People's Committee since the beginning of the term.
