Coach Ten Hag plans to let Sofyan Amrabat return to Fiorentina at the end of the 2023/24 season, instead of buying the Moroccan star as originally planned.

Sofyan Amrabat joined the Red Devils on loan from Fiorentina in the summer transfer window, for a fee of 10 million Euros.
However, after 17 appearances in all competitions, the Moroccan player has not left as much of an impression as he did at the 2022 World Cup.
Insiders at Old Trafford said that MU's leadership is concerned that Amrabat is not suitable for a harsh environment like the Premier League.
An insider revealed to The Sun : "Amrabat is unlikely to stay at MU after the end of this season.
They have the option to buy but given the current situation, coach Ten Hag has no plans to exercise that option.
Sofyan Amrabat has done well in Italy but the pace of play in England is very different. There are many questions about whether the 27-year-old midfielder is suitable for the Premier League."
Another factor leading to Amrabat's future departure is the remarkable progress of young talent Kobbie Mainoo.
The 18-year-old midfielder received praise from coach Ten Hag after the match at Anfield. If he continues to develop, Mainoo could be a regular for MU next season.
The source added: "Kobbie is the future of United. Coach Ten Hag has faced criticism since the start of the season but one thing he deserves credit for is discovering the potential of Mainoo.
Coach Ten Hag considers Mainoo one of the best young players he has ever worked with. He initially had no intention of using the teenager this season but has since changed his mind.
Kobbie Mainoo is set to be a regular starter next season. Everyone at Old Trafford is delighted with the progress Mainoo has made."
