According to data from the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Tinh, in the first 8 months of 2023, the export turnover of goods in the province reached more than 1.9 billion USD, reaching over 95% of the yearly plan.
In August 2023, the export of goods in the province grew quite well with a turnover of about 235.4 million USD, an increase of 3.8% compared to July 2023 and an increase of more than 138% compared to August 2022. Of which, the two groups of goods with the highest increase were steel, steel billets (reaching 213.5 million USD, an increase of more than 188%) and fibers, yarns, and textiles of all kinds (reaching 0.8 million USD, an increase of more than 233%).
Exports from Formosa Ha Tinh account for more than 94% of the province's total export turnover.
In the first 8 months of 2023, total export turnover reached more than 1.9 billion USD, up 63.08% over the same period last year. Of which, Formosa Ha Tinh's export turnover reached more than 1.8 billion USD, accounting for more than 94% of the province's total export turnover, up 69.67% over the same period in 2022.
Compared to the same period in 2022, some products of the province have increased export turnover such as: tea, textiles and garments, steel and steel billets.
Textile and garment export turnover in 8 months increased by 14% over the same period in 2022.
With the achieved results, up to now, Ha Tinh has completed over 95% of the export turnover plan for 2023 (the export turnover plan for 2023 is 2 billion USD).
