Strengthening the organization of the People's Inspectorate at the commune level

Collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding achievements in people's inspection work in the period 2021-2023.

The commune-level Fatherland Front Committee in Hai Duong has completed the People's Inspection Committee for the 2024-2027 term. This announcement was made at the conference to deploy directions and tasks for the 2024-2027 term organized by the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front of Hai Duong province on the morning of January 17.

Specifically, 1,535 people's inspectors were elected in 1,341 villages and residential areas in the province. Of these, 485 were party members (31.5%), 342 were women (22.2%), 982 were re-elected (58.1%), and 639 were first-time participants (41.6%). In terms of educational level, 122 had intermediate level (7.9%), and 37 had bachelor's degrees (2.4%).

Delegates attending the conference to summarize the work of the people's inspection for the 2021-2023 term and deploy tasks for the 2024-2027 term.

In the 2024-2027 term, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, especially at the commune level, continues to advise the Party Committee to pay attention to leading and directing the activities of the People's Inspectorate and the Community Investment Supervision Board. Synthesize and report to competent authorities on the recommendations of the People's Inspectorate and the Community Investment Supervision Board. Strengthen coordination between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the government in resolving and supervising the settlement of complaints and denunciations of citizens...

At the conference, 3 collectives and 5 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee; 30 collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding achievements in people's inspection work in the period 2021-2023.

In the 2021-2023 term, through supervision, the Commune-level People's Inspectorate has detected and recommended to the authorities at all levels and competent agencies a total of 4,727 cases (an average of more than 22 cases/People's Inspectorate). There were 4,579 cases reviewed and resolved by authorities at all levels and competent agencies, reaching 96.8%. Of which, there were 1,009 land violations, with recommendations to handle and recover 163 ^m2 of land for the collective; 177 economic cases, with over 55 million VND recovered; 859 cases of security and order; 569 cases of culture and society and 1,867 cases in other fields.
