Ha Tinh City has just issued a plan to implement the program "Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship" for the period 2023 - 2030. This is considered a solution to create a new entrepreneurial environment, a support for young people to establish themselves and start a business.
With the support and companionship of the City Youth Union, Thanh Sen Youth Cooperative has many opportunities to develop production and expand the market.
Ha Tinh City currently has 85 youth economic models, not only demonstrating the growth of the young generation in establishing themselves and their careers, but also a powerful force contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development in a sustainable and breakthrough direction.
Thanh Sen Youth Cooperative started operating in 2021, gathering 7 young people with the same aspirations, courage and desire to get rich through organic agriculture. This is also a pilot model for implementing the youth startup program of Ha Tinh City Youth Union.
Currently, the Cooperative's products have been supported by the City Youth Union to connect at points of sale in the city.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Giap - member of the Board of Directors of Thanh Sen Youth Cooperative said: "After 2 years of successfully implementing the organic production conversion process, we have started producing some registered products such as: tomatoes, cucumbers, kohlrabi, and various types of cabbage; in the summer, the main products are watermelon and cantaloupe.
Organic production is very difficult, but we want to take advantage of our youth, dedication, progressive ideas, and acquired knowledge to build a valuable brand, contributing to the city's goal of developing urban agriculture. With the close support of the City Youth Union, we have accessed policy mechanisms to implement land consolidation of 5 hectares; completed the application for capital support policies. Currently, the City Youth Union also helps cooperatives connect, promote, and consume products."
Mr. Vo Van Ngoc (born in 1993) - owner of the electronic, lighting, and LED screen model Ngoc Trang was supported by the City Youth Union to access a capital of 50 million VND from the program "Supporting youth startups".
Also receiving support for launching the youth economic model from the City Youth Union, the Ngoc Trang electronics, lighting, and LED screen facility (Thach Trung commune) is growing stronger day by day. Mr. Vo Van Ngoc (born in 1993) - the owner of the model shared: “Thanks to the support of the City Youth Union, the facility was able to borrow 50 million VND from the youth start-up program. Along with that, the City Youth Union also connected and introduced youth union members in the area to use each other's products, expand the market and build a strong brand. In 2022, I spent an additional 1 billion VND to invest in LED screens for events. Up to now, the facility has participated in many major programs and events of the province".
Sol Home model (Thach Ha commune) has revenue from 200 - 400 million VND/month.
Currently, youth economic models in the city are operating quite effectively, bringing high economic value, making important contributions to the development of industries and the overall growth of the locality. In 2023 alone, the City Youth Union launched 19 models with a total capital of 6.5 billion VND. Along with that, not only being a "midwife" for policy access models, the City Youth Union also applies many accompanying solutions, supporting youth union members to start up and develop such as: training, transferring science and technology, business administration, cooperatives; consulting, connecting product consumption; building an ecosystem of youth economic models in the direction of multi-industry, multi-profession, multi-value and connecting, supporting each other; building a digital map of youth start-ups, career establishment...
