Colonel Hoang Minh Hung, Commander of the Hue City Border Guard Command, reported on the results of implementing task 1389.

Over the past time, the Party Committee and the City Border Guard Command have thoroughly grasped and fully implemented the Party's documents, State laws, regulations of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense and the Border Guard Command on crime prevention and control; drug prevention and control; human trafficking prevention and control; smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods; law enforcement and discipline; legal work, legal education and dissemination; citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement and corruption and negativity prevention and control.

The unit has done a good job of disseminating and educating the law, legal work in receiving and handling crime reports, denunciations and recommending prosecution; playing a core and specialized role in managing and protecting the border; fighting against crimes and law violations in the city. At the same time, the unit has coordinated with functional forces in the area to fight, prevent and arrest many gangs and criminals, dismantle many networks and locations to arrest many criminals of drugs, smuggling, and trade fraud, strictly handle cases in accordance with the provisions of the law, not letting criminals escape and not wrongfully convicting innocent people, not allowing complaints to occur in litigation activities.

Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong highly appreciated the efforts and effective efforts in implementing the 1389 work of the city Border Guard. At the same time, he requested the unit to strengthen inspection and supervision, democracy, financial transparency in the coming time, continue to strictly implement legal work, propaganda, dissemination, and legal education focusing on remote areas, ethnic minority areas with limited awareness, and handle administrative violations and comply with the law and discipline. Focus on doing a good job of grasping, forecasting, and assessing the internal and external border situation, coordinating with functional forces to protect national security, and combating and suppressing crimes, especially drug crimes.
