(NLDO) – Every day, a gold tycoon earns nearly 5.8 billion VND in after-tax profit and is about to pay nearly 200 billion VND in cash dividends to shareholders.
Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) announced that it will close the shareholder list on February 11 to pay cash dividends for the first period of 2024 according to the resolution of the shareholders' meeting.
Accordingly, the company will spend about 200 billion VND to pay a dividend of 6%/share (1 share receives 600 VND). The expected dividend payment date is March 10. On the stock market, PNJ shares are currently trading at around 95,500 VND/share.
This gold giant spent nearly 200 billion VND to pay cash dividends to shareholders, in the context of record revenue and profit in its operating history. PNJ's 2024 business results report shows that in the fourth quarter of 2024 alone, this gold enterprise recorded net revenue of 8,581 billion VND and after-tax profit of 733 billion VND.

Accumulated for the whole year of 2024, PNJ earned VND 37,823 billion in net revenue and VND 2,115 billion in profit after tax, up 14.1% and 7.3% respectively over the same period last year. This is a record revenue and profit in PNJ's history of operations.
On average, this gold tycoon earns a net profit of nearly 5.8 billion VND per day. Of which, sales from the jewelry segment account for 68.3% of the total revenue structure in 2024.

Regarding gold prices, as of early afternoon on February 10, SJC gold bar prices were pushed up by businesses to VND87.8 million/tael for buying and VND90.8 million/tael for selling, an increase of VND500,000 per tael compared to yesterday.
The price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold also increased to 87.5 million VND/tael for buying and 90.3 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 300,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday.
Domestic gold prices have not stopped increasing as world prices have reached a new peak. In the international market, the precious metal is being traded at $2,889/ounce, up nearly $30/ounce compared to the end of the week.
Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 89 million VND/tael.
