Quang Ngai Industrial Promotion Department plans to support up to 1 billion VND/enterprise

If approved, businesses in Quang Ngai province can receive support under local industrial promotion of up to 1 billion VND/business.

The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just submitted a document to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council requesting consideration of drafting a Resolution stipulating specific spending levels for local industrial promotion activities in the province.

Accordingly, enterprises in Quang Ngai province will receive financial support under the province's local industrial promotion program with various contents and support levels.

Outstanding, support up to 30% of the cost, but not more than 1 billion VND to build a demonstration model to popularize new technology and new products (including costs: Construction and purchase of machinery and equipment; completion of documents on technological processes, production processes, serving the technical demonstration).

Support enterprises to build pilot models of cleaner production and cleaner export in industry for industrial establishments with support levels of up to 500 million VND/enterprise (at the same time not exceeding 30% of the cost of implementing the model).

Enterprises can be supported up to 50% of the cost of purchasing advanced machinery and equipment, transferring technology in industrial and handicraft production. The maximum support level is 300 million VND/facility.

In addition, rural industrial establishments will be supported with 80-100% of the costs to participate in trade promotion activities, domestic and international fairs and exhibitions. They will be supported with funding for construction, trademark registration, design consultancy, packaging, etc.

The report also mentioned many other support contents such as support for the establishment of associations and professional associations at the provincial and district levels; support for the formation of industrial enterprise clusters (support level up to 150 million VND/cluster); regulations on loan interest support expenses, etc.

It is expected that the Proposal on the Resolution regulating specific expenditure levels for local industrial promotion activities in Quang Ngai province will be submitted to the Provincial People's Council for approval before June 2025, at the Special Session of the 13th Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council.
