The film Don't be afraid to marry, just need a reason revolves around the lives of two brothers Dong (Trong Lan) and Yen (Hoang Thuy Linh). While the older brother is a spoiled young master, lives without purpose and is quite indifferent to everyone, Yen is highly praised.

Although she did not appear in the preview of episode 1 of the movie Don't be afraid to marry, just need a reason , the character Yen was clearly portrayed through the words of other characters. This made the audience even more curious about Hoang Thuy Linh's character.
