On the afternoon of February 5, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting updated the latest bulletin, assessing weather developments in regions across the country during the 2024 Lunar New Year (from the night of February 5-14, i.e. the night of December 26 to the 5th day of Tet).
Accordingly, this morning (February 5), the cold air weakened and shifted to the east, causing light rain, drizzle and humidity in the North to still occur widely, but with a tendency to decrease slightly compared to last week.
Meteorologists predict that this situation will likely last until February 7. From February 8 (December 29), the cold air will intensify, causing the temperature in the whole region to drop rapidly. During the Lunar New Year, the weather will turn cold, with severe cold in mountainous areas and some places.
