It is forecasted that from December 13 to the night of December 14, in the area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 80-180 mm, locally over 350 mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100 mm/6 hours).

In addition, on the day and night of December 13, in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands and the South, there will be showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain, locally over 70 mm.

Warning on December 15, in the area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall of 20-50 mm, locally over 80 mm. From the night of December 15, heavy rain will gradually decrease in the Central provinces.

Heavy rains are likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas; flash floods on small rivers and streams, and landslides on steep slopes.
