From the night of March 18, this cold air mass will affect the Northeast region and some places in the Northwest.
From March 19, cold air will affect other places in the Northwest, North Central and some places in the Central Central. The wind will change to the Northeast, level 2-3 inland, level 4-5 in coastal areas.
Cold air has flowed into the North, ending the drizzle since March 19, and the weather has turned cold. After this wet spell, there will be about 4-5 more wet spells in April.
During this cold air mass, the lowest temperature in the North is generally from 15-18 degrees, in mountainous areas from 12-15 degrees, in high mountainous areas below 10 degrees; in the North Central region, it is generally from 16-19 degrees.
From the night of March 18-19, the Northern and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain. From the afternoon of March 19, the area from Quang Binh to Phu Yen will have rain, showers and thunderstorms in some places.
Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.
