The Party Committee of Tuyen Quang province always considers the task of caring for the material and spiritual life of the people as the top priority, especially in implementing social security policies and stabilizing people's lives. In 2024, when people's lives faced difficulties and dangers due to floods, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee resolutely directed departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts and cities to focus on responding to and overcoming the consequences caused by storm No. 3; established many working groups to inspect, direct, and urge the response to natural disasters in the area and assigned fields; mobilized thousands of police and military officers and soldiers to quickly implement plans to overcome the consequences and restore production. Tuyen Quang also received special attention from General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders. The province has also urgently implemented urgent projects to arrange and stabilize the population in the disaster area after storm No. 3. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son directed that the districts provide rice subsidies to the people in a timely manner, with the first priority being to arrange accommodation, ensuring that by December 31, 2024, land must be handed over to households, and that households must have housing that ensures living conditions before Tet.

Up to now, the province has also agreed on the construction plan of 7 resettlement areas: resettlement area of ​​Ban Lan village, Son Phu commune (Na Hang); resettlement area of ​​Na Tong village, Thuong Lam commune (Lam Binh); resettlement area of ​​Na Ngan, Yen Lap commune; Pac Hop residential area, Linh Phu commune (Chiem Hoa); resettlement area of ​​Dan Khao commune, Chieu Yen commune and resettlement area of ​​Ban Pinh village, Trung Minh commune (Yen Son) and resettlement area of ​​Khuon Phay village, Khang Nhat commune (Son Duong).

In addition, the provincial Party Committees and authorities, and the provincial elected representatives have paid attention to performing well the work of receiving citizens, meeting voters, and having dialogues with the people to promptly resolve the people's legitimate petitions and aspirations. The leadership and direction role of the Party Committees and authorities from the province to the grassroots level has been increasingly enhanced. The work of receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations in agencies and units; localities have had positive changes, newly arising cases have been resolved promptly; heads of agencies and units have strengthened the work of receiving citizens periodically and suddenly, organizing dialogues to resolve complaints under their authority according to the provisions of law, most of the arising cases and matters have been resolved promptly, not allowing complications, hot spots to arise, and prolonged complaints.

Up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has organized dialogues with citizens and issued a Notice of termination of handling complaints for 17/17 cases. There are no more pending or prolonged cases in the province according to the Central Government's plans. In the past time, the whole province has not had any hot spots or complications in complaints and denunciations that affect the security and political situation of the province.

From 2021 to now, there have been 4,089 Party cells and Party committees participating in "three together" activities with the people at the grassroots level with many extremely meaningful and practical activities such as supporting the repair and renovation of houses, building projects to light up rural roads, installing canals in the fields, supporting poor households to plant production forests, examining and distributing medicine to the people, supporting people to relocate houses to clear the land, etc.

The government's mass mobilization work has many innovations and creativity, focusing on key tasks and breakthroughs of the province such as mobilizing land clearance, building key infrastructure projects, developing the economy, building new rural areas, preserving and promoting the good cultural values ​​of the nation. Thanks to that, the mass mobilization work of the entire political system in the province has contributed to solving and removing "bottlenecks", and opening up resources for socio-economic development.

Close to the People, serving the People

With the motto of "taking the People as the root", many typical cadres and party members have appeared who are close to the People, respect the People, understand the People, love the People, and do their best to do whatever is beneficial to the People at the grassroots level. During 13 years as the President of the Women's Union of Binh An Commune (Lam Binh), Ms. Ma Thi Hau has always been close to and actively went to the branches, met and talked with the female members, thereby creating a close and close relationship, contributing to both doing a good job of propagating the Party's resolutions to the women, and grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the members to build the Union's programs and action plans that are close to reality and in line with the aspirations of the majority of members.

Thanks to her closeness to the members, Ms. Hau has grasped the difficult circumstances of the members who need help to launch the movements "One activity per week", "Shelter of love", "Women practice saving following Uncle Ho's example"... Many practical activities to help members have been launched in the branches such as supporting sick members' families to plant rice, harvest agricultural products, and helping poor members build houses. The Commune Women's Union also coordinated with the Bank for Social Policies and Agribank to establish savings and loan groups to receive entrustment and support poor women and those in difficult circumstances to access capital sources. Up to now, over 200 women members have been able to borrow capital to develop their economy.

Although she was transferred from Truong Sinh commune to be the Party Secretary of Tam Da commune, comrade Duong Thi Phuong Nhung has affirmed her role and responsibility as the head of the Party Committee in the transferred locality. Realizing that in Tam Da there were many cases of petitions from the people that had been pending for a long time and had not been completely resolved, Ms. Nhung and her comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and the Party Committee of the commune actively went down to the people to organize meetings with the people, study each case, and directly survey the situation. In many cases, she directed direct dialogues with citizens. Thanks to that, up to now, all of the remaining cases related to land have been basically completely resolved. As a leader transferred from another place, Ms. Nhung actively participated in "three together" activities with the people to strengthen the close relationship and grasp the situation among the people.

The example of being close to the people to mobilize by Party cell Secretary Trieu Viet Loan, Rap village, Tien Bo commune (Yen Son) has created a spreading force, strengthening the people's trust in the leadership of the Party. Wherever there is a need to mobilize land clearance or land donation, with his participation, it is always easier to implement. For policies related to people's lives, Mr. Loan always organizes meetings to discuss, reach consensus within the Party cell, and then publicly announce them to the people. For households directly related to policies and projects that require land clearance or land donation, he and the Party members assigned to be in charge of that household go to the place to mobilize and explain. From 2022 to now, Party members and people in Rap village have donated hundreds of square meters of land to build bridges according to Resolution No. 55 of the Provincial People's Council, concretized rural roads, and voluntarily cleared land to build resettlement areas.

The results achieved in mass mobilization work in the province in recent times have affirmed that Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province always pay attention to practicing the working style of being close to the people, respecting the people, understanding the people, and helping the people in a practical way. This is the basis and foundation to create consensus and trust of the people in all decisions and policies of the Party.
