The conference heard reports on the strategy, production and business operation plan, and management work for the last 6 months of 2024 of THACO AUTO Production Block, Automobile R&D Center, and passenger car, truck, and bus manufacturing and assembly plants.
2024 is the second year that THACO AUTO implements the 5-year strategy for the period 2023 - 2027. Accordingly, the Production Division continues to focus on R&D activities to develop a full range of products, meeting the specific requirements of domestic and export customers; invest and upgrade technology and production techniques towards automation; organize integrated production with many brands, suitable for output scale and meeting quality and production process requirements. At the same time, apply digital transformation in a fast and appropriate roadmap to management, production operations, quality control, towards a smart factory model; focus on quality management and cost management.

Regarding human resources, the Production Division focuses on building human resources with positive attitudes, capacity and creative thinking; focusing on training and improving knowledge of automotive science and technology, R&D for employees. At the same time, developing a team of leaders and managers with sharp strategic thinking, industrial style and market understanding; encouraging each employee to promote the spirit of self-study and training to create value, meeting the Group's production and business strategy.
Speaking at the conference, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of THACO affirmed: THACO AUTO Production Block from automobile assembly to localization with many levels; production from manual to automation application; making products from mid-range to high-end. The upcoming stage will shift from assembly with high localization content to manufacturing products under the THACO brand, aiming to become a real manufacturer . To do this, it is necessary to focus on R&D activities, master the entire production process, from design to product development. In particular, the Chairman of the Board of Directors emphasized the need to pursue a differentiated strategy, producing products according to customers' specific requirements, starting from understanding the market and requirements of each country, thereby promoting export activities.
Regarding management, THACO AUTO Production Division needs to restructure the apparatus, focus resources on research and development, and focus on cooperation with foreign experts with rich experience in R&D and management. THACO Chairman of the Board of Directors emphasized: The ultimate goal is to always change to develop the business and through that, develop human resources. Human resources must promote the spirit of change, have a sense of responsibility and self-discipline to develop in accordance with the Group's overall development strategy.
