DNVN - On May 18, AEON Vietnam Co., Ltd. (AEON Vietnam) officially held the groundbreaking ceremony for the AEON Tan An Shopping Center project in Ward 6, Tan An City, Long An Province.
This is the 8th shopping mall in Vietnam of AEON Group and the first AEON shopping mall in the Mekong Delta region, expected to come into operation by the end of 2025.
Located in the new administrative area of Long An province, AEON Tan An owns a prime location, convenient for transportation. Located at the gateway connecting to the southwestern provinces, AEON Tan An Shopping Mall aims to serve not only Long An residents but also from many neighboring areas and provinces.
With an estimated total floor area of nearly 30,000 m2, a parking lot with a capacity of nearly 250 cars and more than 700 motorbikes, designed according to the concept of "Daily Community Park", AEON Tan An promises to be a destination where customers can not only experience modern shopping facilities, diverse and quality products and services, enjoy a new lifestyle but also immerse themselves in a space close to nature and environmentally friendly.
AEON identifies Vietnam as its second key market, alongside Japan, to continue promoting investment activities and accompanying the development of Vietnamese society.
“AEON Tan An Shopping Center marks an important milestone in AEON Group's expansion strategy in Vietnam. When put into operation, the project is expected to create nearly 600 job opportunities for the local community, contributing to the overall economic development of Long An province. Opening stores in each area is also an opportunity to access local specialties.
