On the morning of March 5, Pegavision Corporation held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Pegavision Vietnam factory project in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (Thai Binh Economic Zone).
Delegates pressed the button to start construction of the Pegavision Vietnam factory project at Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park.
Attending the event were comrade Tran Luu Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; leaders of a number of central ministries, departments and branches. On the side of Thai Binh province, there were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation and leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities.

The Pegavision Vietnam factory invested in and built in Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park is a project specializing in the production of contact lenses and medical equipment with a designed capacity of 600 million products/year, with a total investment of 200 million USD. When put into stable operation, the project's revenue is expected to reach about 2,800 billion VND/year, contributing about 86 billion VND/year to the state budget, creating jobs for 1,140 workers. The investor and general contractor strive to complete the construction and installation of machinery for production in phase I of the project in the fourth quarter of 2024 and will start construction of phase II in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that this is an important project chosen by the province to direct the groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the announcement of the Thai Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, while creating a ripple effect to attract investment, new momentum and motivation for the province's development right from the first days of the new spring.
In order for the Pegavision Vietnam factory project to be completed and put into operation soon, promoting investment efficiency, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested investors to focus resources on implementing the construction and installation of the factory to ensure quality and progress as committed; comply with the provisions of Vietnamese law, strictly comply with construction standards and regulations; ensure quality, construction safety, labor safety and environmental sanitation. The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province together with departments, branches, and the People's Committee of Thai Thuy district continue to pay attention, create the most favorable conditions, promptly support investors to resolve problems arising during the project implementation process to help speed up the investment progress.
The general contractor mobilized machinery and human resources to start construction immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony for the Pegavision Vietnam factory project.
